dc.description.abstract This study aimed to investigate methods for improving job performance at the Atiwa West District Assembly, focusing particularly on enhancing communication effectiveness. Objectives included assessing current communication practices, identifying key challenges hindering job performance among staff, and exploring best practices for effective organizational communication. Using a descriptive research design, data were collected from 53 respondents via an online questionnaire using simple random sampling. Analysis conducted with SPSS version 26 revealed generally positive perceptions of internal communication effectiveness and clarity of information, indicating functional channels with moderate clarity. Challenges identified encompassed diverse issues from interpersonal dynamics to structural and skill-related factors. Recommendations include implementing structured training programs to enhance communication skills and establishing robust feedback mechanisms to foster open and constructive communication. en_US
