dc.description.abstract The design and assessment of a vehicle-mounted rice thresher, intended to improve agricultural production and expedite the rice harvesting process, is presented in this thesis. The study starts with a thorough examination of the difficulties that currently exist with conventional rice harvesting techniques, such as manual threshing and mechanical threshers that need to be handled and transported separately. The study points out the drawbacks of traditional methods and highlights the need for a more transportable, integrated solution that is easily affixed to agricultural tractors. The study's vehicle-mounted rice thresher integrates a thresher unit with a Hyundai Grace MiniBus vehicle and a compatible 4-wheel drive vehicle. Its benefits include reduced post-harvest losses, enhanced grain quality, increased harvesting efficiency, versatility, and cost-effectiveness and maneuverability. The thesis ends with suggestions for this technology's broad use, highlighting its ability to raise rice yield and farmers' standard of living. The vehicle-mounted rice thresher is a viable option for sustainable agriculture and food security in rice-dependent regions since it addresses the serious issues with traditional rice harvesting. en_US
