This research was conducted to assess tendering procedures and its effect on products
delivery performance, evidence from Koforidua Technical University. Tendering procedure
is subjected with delays and occasional inability to deliver the goods and services results to
decline organizational delivery performance. The study sought to identify the tendering
procedures adopted by Koforidua Technical University in the procurement of goods, to
determine the mechanisms to enhance tendering procedures and the effect of tendering
procedures on products delivery performance. Quantitative approach was adopted with a
survey conducted using a total of 40 questionnaire administered to the respondent on the
field. Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 28 software was used for the
data analysis. The study findings revealed that tendering application is highly regarded and
acknowledged for effective product delivery that enhances supplier selection, risk
management, innovation, openness, accountability, and teamwork. The study recommend
that public sector institutions ought to make an investment in strengthening lines of
communication and coordinating activities throughout the tendering process and tendering
procedure should also incorporate regular supplier performance evaluations. |
