The purpose of the study was to find out how satisfied students were with library materials and
services at the Koforidua Technical University Library (KTUL) and Valley View University's Walton
Whaley Library (WWL) (WWLVVU). Questionnaires were utilized to collect information for the study.
Five hundred and seventy-two copies of the questionnaires were retrieved and judged to be valid for
analysis, reflecting a response rate of 79.1%. Statistical Package for Social Sciences was used to analyze
the data (SPSS, version 20). The findings revealed that while the majority of respondents were aware of
the resources and services provided by the libraries under examination, the majority of the
respondence did not visit the university library frequently. Also revealed as per the findings, the users
in the university libraries under examination faced a variety of challenges, including a shortage of
current resources, ICT facilities such as computers, and poor internet connectivity. It however
recommended for the university's authority as well as the library administrations to endeavour to
increase internet bandwidth, purchase current literature for the university library, and add more
computers to give quick access |
